بررسی تأثیر قیمت‌گذاری با اعداد انتهایی غیر روند بر روی پردازش اطّلاعات قیمتی مصرف‌کنندگان

چکیده

قیمت‌گذاری غیر روند یک شیوۀ قیمت‌گذاری مهم بوده که در طول سال‌ها به وسیلۀ خرده‌فروشان استفاده می‌شده است. یکی از دلایلی که برای تأثیرگذاری این شیوۀ قیمت‌گذاری بر افزایش خرید بیان شده است این می‌باشد که مصرف‌کنندگان تمایل دارند اعداد سمت راست قیمت‌ها را در ذهن خود حذف کرده و یا توجه بسیار کمی به آن داشته باشند. این پژوهش در پی آن است تا بررسی کند که چگونه شیوۀ قیمت‌گذاری با اعداد انتهایی غیر روند می‌تواند پردازش اطلاعات قیمتی مصرف‌کنندگان را تحت تأثیر قرار دهد. در این تحقیق برای سنجشِ نوع برآوردهای مطرح شده به وسیلۀ پاسخ‌دهندگان، از مدل بیستر و شیندلر (2005) و برای سنجشِ نوع انگیزۀ پاسخ‌دهندگان درمورد پردازش اطلاعات قیمتی، از پرسشنامۀ مقیاس ضرورت شناختِ کاچیوپو و همکاران (1984) استفاده شده است. برای این منظور تعداد 184 پرسشنامه مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. تجزیه و تحلیل و آزمون فرضیه‌های مطرح شده در این تحقیق با استفاده از نرم‌افزار PAFW SPSS 18 انجام گرفته است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد زمانی که اعداد انتهایی قیمت کالاها غیر روند باشد، برآورد ذهنی مصرف‌کنندگان از تعداد کالاهایی که –در همان بازۀ قیمتی- می‌توانند خریداری نمایند، بیش‌تر است. هم‌چنین قیمت‌گذاری غیر روند منجر به ایجاد خطای حذف می‌شود، اما در به وجود آمدن خطای عدم حذف تأثیر چندانی ندارد. علاوه بر این، افرادی که انگیزۀ پایینی برای پردازش اطلاعات و هم‌چنین توانایی شناختیِ پایین‌تری برای انجام این امر دارند، قیمت‌های با اعداد انتهایی غیر روند را بیش‌تر ترجیح می‌دهند.
