A reflection on Green Supply Chain Management: Investigating the Role of Green Employees Empowerment on the Green purchases in Green food producers

Abstract
The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of green employees' empowerment on green purchasing with respect to the role of mediating green supply chain management. This is an applied and descriptive study and has been performed by survey method. The statistical population of this study is 133 employees of green food company in Tehran who are selected by Cochran sampling method and 19 items with 5 spectrum options used to measure the information. The questionnaire based on Likert spectrum is used in order to collect information. Structural equations’ modeling is used to analyze research data with Smart-PLS software. The validity of convergent and divergent validity is used by software, In order to fit the reliability, Cronbakh alpha was used and its coefficient for all research structures is more than 0.7.
The results indicate that the empowerment of green employees has a positive and significant effect on green purchases and green supply chain management. However, Green Supply Chain Management does not mediate the link between greening staff empowerment and green purchases.
