Pathology of Appointment Methods of business managers in State-Owned Companies In IRAN

Abstract
The main goal of the current research is to Pathology of Appointment Methods of business managers in state-owned companies in the country. In order to achieve this goal, the three-horned pathology model; A mixed research method was used to collect qualitative and quantitative data, respectively, interviews and researcher-made questionnaires. The results of the research showed that: (1) the predominance of the political environment and the dependence of the selection of business managers on political currents and (2) the involvement of unrelated real and legal personalities in the process of selecting managers, including the most important environmental damages in the process of Appointment business managers in the company has been the government of the country. Also, (1) arbitrary implementation of instructions and regulations in the appointment of business managers, (2) selection of obedient people and (3) giving preference to people who are aligned or similar in the selection process have been the most important behavioral damages. In addition, (1) not using a scientific and documented model in the appointment of managers, (2) not being accurate and comprehensive in measuring the abilities of people to hold business management positions, such as mastery of commercial and customs laws, and (3) Non-compliance and congruence between the expertise of the appointed people and commercial expertise were identified as the most important structural damage in the process of appointing commercial managers in the country's state-owned companies. The results of the research showed that structural damages in the process of appointing managers, on the one hand, increase the effectiveness of the organization from environmental damages, and on the other hand, it facilitates and accelerates the occurrence of behavioral damages in this area.
